CCTV News: The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from January 26 to 28, the impact of the first cold wave this year will continue, the temperature in many places in the central and eastern regions will continue to decline, and the cumulative cooling rate in many places in the north will be large. On the 26th and 27th, the highest temperature in some areas of Northwest and North China was only about -5℃; some areas in the south cooled down sharply. At the same time, the core area of ​​snowfall will move eastward, and heavy snow will occur in some areas of the Northeast.

Meteorological monitoring showed that on the 25th, snowfall, sleet or rain-turning snow occurred in some areas of central Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, eastern and western Shandong, Henan, northern and western Hubei, central and northern Anhui, and heavy snow appeared in central Shaanxi, western and central and southern Shanxi, and western Henan.

On the morning of the 26th, the temperature in some areas of central and western Inner Mongolia, eastern Northwest, central and western North China, western South China, western Sichuan Plateau and other areas dropped by 6 to 10℃, and local cooling in central and northern Shanxi and other areas dropped by 12 to 16℃.

The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that on the 26th and 27th, the temperature in central and eastern Inner Mongolia, North China, Huanghuai, Jianghuai, central and eastern Jiangnan, central and eastern South China, central and eastern Yunnan, and southern western Sichuan Plateau will drop by 6 to 10℃, and the cooling range in central Inner Mongolia can reach more than 12℃; the lowest temperature 0℃ line on the 27th and 28th will press south to southern Jiangnan to southern Guizhou and northern Yunnan.

There will be northerly winds about level 5 and gusts of 7 to 9 in some areas mentioned above and in central and western Tibet, and strong winds of 7 to 8 in the eastern and southern waters, and the winds of some waters in the central Yellow Sea can reach level 9 and gusts of 10 to 11. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue blue warnings for cold waves and yellow warnings for strong winds on the 26th.

In terms of precipitation, the Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that in the next three days, there will be continuous precipitation in the northeast and southwest areas, and there will be heavy to blizzards in some areas of Liaoning and Jilin, and local heavy blizzards. Among them, there will be heavy to blizzards in some areas in southeastern Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, southern Jilin, northern Shandong Peninsula, etc., among which there will be heavy blizzards in some areas in eastern Liaoning. The snow accumulation depth in the above areas is 3 to 8 cm, and can reach more than 12 cm in some areas. The meteorological department reminds that on the 26th and 27th, snowfall in some parts of the northeast will be strong, and there will be heavy snow in some places.
