Beijing: 40,000 new energy passenger car indicators are issued to targeted car-free families

The Beijing Municipal Transportation Department announced on January 26 that the quota for small passenger car indicators in Beijing in 2025 is 100,000, including 20,000 ordinary passenger car indicators and 80,000 new energy passenger car indicators. In addition, Beijing will issue 40,000 new energy passenger car indicators to car-free households on May 26.

The quota for passenger car indicators in Beijing in 2025 is 100,000, and the specific configuration ratio is as follows: among the ordinary passenger car indicators, there are a total of 19,200 household and individual indicator quotas, and the same-pool lottery method is adopted for families and individuals; the unit indicator quotas are 800. Among the new energy passenger car indicators, there are 58,400 household indicator quotas, 14,600 individual indicator quotas, 4,000 unit indicator quotas, and 3,000 operating indicator quotas.

In addition, in 2025, Beijing will issue 40,000 new energy passenger car indicators to car-free families. According to the work arrangement for targeted share issuance, the list of families shortlisted for points will be announced on May 26, with the regular new energy passenger car indicator configuration results. Family applicants can log in to the Beijing Passenger Car Index Regulation and Management Information System for specific inquiries.

The configuration method of additional issuance indicators is: after the regular configuration completes 58,400 new energy passenger car indicators for households, continue to sort from high to low according to the total points of the family. The first family applicants to sort the registration time of the Beijing passenger car indicator regulation and management information system, and target the first 40,000 car-free families.
