The plan for the year lies in spring. After New Year's Day and before the Spring Festival, 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country have held local two sessions one after another, and put forward the expected development goals for this year. Among them, the economic growth target has attracted much attention.
Now, we need GDP, but we are not only GDP. Both "effective improvement of quality" and "reasonable growth of quantity" are very important. The Central Economic Work Conference held at the end of last year emphasized five "must be coordinated", one of which is "must be coordinated between improving quality and increasing the total volume." Looking at the two sessions in various places, it depends on how local governments adapt to local conditions and implement these five "must-coordinate".

Describing the GDP growth targets of 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities is not complicated. Because the numerical areas are very concentrated - Tibet is growing by more than 7%, striving to reach 8%; Hainan is more than 6%; Inner Mongolia, Hubei, Chongqing, and Xinjiang is about 6%; Anhui and Sichuan are more than 5.5%, Jilin, Zhejiang, Hunan, Henan, Guizhou, Gansu and Ningxia are about 5.5%; Fujian is 5.0% to 5.5%; Hebei, Liaoning, Jiangsu and Shandong are more than 5%; Tianjin, Beijing, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Guangdong, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Yunnan, Shanxi, Shaanxi are about 5%; Qinghai is about 4.5%.
How do you think?
——Look at the overall situation first. There are 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities with "about 5%" and higher. The national GDP growth rate last year was 5%.
——Look at the economic province again. In recent years, the central government has repeatedly emphasized that economic provinces should take the lead. "Economic provinces" generally refer to the top six, or expand to the top ten. Among the top six, the GDP accounts for about 45% of the national economic output. The top ten accounts for about 60%. Looking at this year's goal, one province is in the "6" range and nine provinces are in the "5" range. "Big guys" must be unswerving and play a big role.
