CCTV News: The Spring Festival is approaching, and the country's agricultural products supply is sufficient and the variety is rich, and the urban and rural markets are ushering in a peak in consumption.
At present, the national foundation for ensuring supply and stabilizing prices is solid. The area of vegetables in the field is 80.2 million mu, an increase of about 800,000 mu over the same period last year. The fruit category is rich, and the production of meat, eggs, milk and aquatic products remains stable. During the Spring Festival, the supply of "rice bags" and "vegetable baskets" products is guaranteed.
The southern and northern vegetable transportation bases and northern facilities are effectively responding to the recent cold wave weather and ensuring market supply. More than 1,600 cooperatives in Shouguang, Shandong have been suspended during the Spring Festival and have reserved sufficient transportation insulation materials to keep vegetables fresh and delivered to low-temperature areas.
Wang Haitao, member of the Party Leadership Group of the Shouguang Municipal Bureau of Commerce in Shandong, said: "During the Spring Festival, it is estimated that about 14,000 tons of vegetables are shipped to all parts of the country every day in Shouguang. We are now actively transporting to ensure that the vegetables are constantly being stocked and not out of stock."
Large and medium-sized cities also organize supply sources through multiple channels and channels. 198 key agricultural products supply guarantee enterprises in Guangzhou, Guangdong have increased their stock volume, and more than 1,000 physical stores and 533 meat and vegetable markets will not close during the Spring Festival. Anhui Lu'an has established a tiered supply guarantee operation system to ensure that more than 20 vegetables can be put on the shelves every day in supermarkets.
In order to ensure the smooth operation of agricultural products, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in conjunction with relevant departments, organize production and sales docking, and reasonably guide the vegetable market schedule and the slaughter and out of the pond, and promote balanced supply.
