CCTV News: According to the Ministry of Emergency Management, recently, with the joint efforts of all parties, 5.272 billion yuan of central winter and spring relief funds have been all distributed in place, and a total of 30.92 million people have been rescued to support and help the affected people to spend the winter and festival safely and warmly.
In order to ensure that all localities deliver the care and warmth of General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee to the affected people in a timely manner, the Ministry of Emergency Management and the Ministry of Finance issued a notice in advance, held a meeting to make arrangements and deployments, developed and used an information platform system, and helped local governments to efficiently carry out relief declaration and approval, and accurately surveyed and determined the targets of relief. Since the beginning of winter, we have coordinated and sent several batches of working groups to key provinces for on-site investigation and guidance, and went to villages and households to understand the basic living security of the affected people in winter and spring, and guided to strengthen key care for special groups in disasters and difficulties, ensuring that no household or person was left behind. After the funds are allocated, we will continue to follow up and supervise and speed up the work progress, guide and support local governments to implement relief measures in a meticulous manner, accurately distribute relief funds and materials, strengthen the coordination and connection of policies and resources, form a joint force for assistance from multiple departments, and effectively improve the level of relief.
