CCTV News: The 9th Asian Winter Conference in Harbin in 2025 will be held from February 7 to 14. On the evening of January 25, the main creative team completed the first full-element rehearsal of the opening ceremony.
The opening ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Conference in Harbin will be held at the Harbin International Sports Convention and Exhibition Center on the evening of February 7. The opening ceremony is based on the theme of "Ice and Snow Dream, Asia and Asia are the One Heart" and is divided into three chapters: upper, middle and lower. The director team will maximize the use of ice and snow elements in the opening ceremony, show the vitality of ice and snow sports, demonstrate the charm of ice and snow culture, and show the new era of China and the positive spiritual outlook of the Chinese people.



The main creative team introduced that this rehearsal will run-in in all aspects of lighting, stage design, props, actors and TV broadcasting, optimize the mutual connection between each link, and further test the safety and reliability of the entire process of the opening ceremony. According to reports, this full-element rehearsal combines the TV broadcast team and the public signal production team to fully test the visual effects presented by virtual reality technology and augmented reality technology in TV broadcasting, and strive to present a visual feast of ice and snow to the audience in front of the TV. After the rehearsal, the creative team will re-adjust the video, costumes, props and some equipment, and will also perform full-element rehearsals at the right time before the official performance.


Sha Xiaolan, director of the opening and closing ceremony of the 9th Asian Winter Conference, said: "Today is our first full-element squadron. It is different from the previous two days. Today is full of audiences. In this case, there is a stress test. From remote security check to the live full of audiences, every item of the actor's performance must be tested. Today should be a realistic simulation of the situation on the evening of February 7."
