CCTV News: While the vast crowd returned home to celebrate the New Year, some people were "reversely moving". In recent years, more and more tourists have chosen to "reverse Spring Festival travel rush", and many elderly people have chosen to celebrate the New Year in the city where their children work.

At 8:49 in the morning, the K9275 train slowly stopped at the station 1 of Shenzhen East Station, and there were many elderly people among the passengers who got off the train.

After nearly 13 hours' drive, Aunt Chen and her husband arrived in Shenzhen from their hometown Changde, Hunan, and dragged various specialties from their hometown to celebrate the New Year with their daughter and son-in-law.

Ms. Chen, a traveler from Changde, Hunan, said: "My daughter and son-in-law are here. They don't have time. We brought sesame oil, chicken, goose, cabbage, and side dishes from Changde, Hunan. The vegetables are grown by ourselves are a little delicious."

With the help of Shenzhen Railway Public Security, Aunt Chen finally met her daughter and son-in-law.

No matter where you are, the family is reunion. When countless people embark on their journey home, there are still such a group of people going to their children's workplace to celebrate the New Year. According to China Railway Corporation, the overall passenger flow during the Spring Festival travel rush this year has increased steadily, and the reverse passenger flow will further increase.

During the Spring Festival travel rush, the railway department will implement preferential fares for some passenger trains in non-tensive periods and directions, which will also bring more benefits to passengers.

Ms. Chen, a traveler at Changde, Hunan, said: "The sleeper of our car is only 148 yuan, and the discount is very good. We used to take the sleeper of that car for 406.5 yuan."

Huang Yuchu, senior engineer of the passenger transport department of Guangzhou Railway Group, said: "The maximum discount for ordinary speed trains is as low as 20% off. For example, the K9275 train from Changsha to Guangzhou North Station, the hard seat ticket price is only 18 yuan after 20% off. The maximum discount for EMUs is as low as 30% off. For example, the G4615 train from Chongqing West to Guangzhou South, the second-class ticket price is only 150 yuan after 30% off."

The 77-year-old man takes the high-speed train with a handwritten "ticket" and the staff warmly helps the way home. Recently, at Guilin Station in Guangxi, an elderly man in his seventies encountered difficulties when entering the station to take the train. He asked the staff for help with the handwritten ticket information, and finally traveled smoothly with the help of the station staff.

At noon that day, at the entrance of Guilin Station, an old man asked the staff how to get in and wait for the train. When the staff at the ticket gate saw that the elderly were traveling alone and had a lot of luggage, they guided the elderly to the waiting room and notified their colleagues to provide key services. Then, the passenger duty officer found the old man in the waiting area. The old man took out a piece of paper with handwritten ticket information on it.

Wang Minxue, a passenger duty officer at Guilin Station of the National Railway Nanning Bureau, said: "Because my daughter is busy with work and has no time to send him, she wrote a 'ticket' and repeatedly told the elderly to ask for help from the staff wearing railway uniforms if she encounters difficulties."

The paper clearly stated the train number, time, ticket gate and other information. The passenger duty officer patiently answered the elderly’s questions and escorted him onto the train to handle the care of the train commander.
