CCTV News: With the advent of the digital age, AR, VR and other technologies have entered the museum to make cultural relics "live". As the Spring Festival approaches, the technological elements in the Sanxingdui Museum bring new experiences to tourists.

In the new Sanxingdui Museum, tourists "returned" to the archaeological excavation site through the large-scale VR immersive exploration and experience project of "Search for Sanxingdui", followed the Sanxingdui site area overlooking the Duck River, and witnessed the gradual reveal of cultural relics from the soil, "driving" a golden mask, shuttled between the historical galaxies, and witnessed the changes in the world.
In addition, the interactive experience hall of the Sanxingdui Museum uses scientific and technological means such as sound, light and electricity to integrate cultural relics with humanistic connotations. Hang prayer cards on the bronze sacred tree through a digital touch screen. Visitors can also use infrared sensing technology to dance into Sanxingdui bronze villains and immersively experience Sanxingdui people's clothing, hairstyles, crown styles, diet and natural living environment.

In order to meet more tourists' needs for objective exhibitions, the museum will continue night services during the Spring Festival, increase visits and extend the opening hours until 8:00 pm every day. Among them, tickets from the first to the seventh day of the New Year will be released at one time at 20:00 on January 24. Visitors are requested to make an appointment in advance to purchase tickets.
