In the fruit area of this agricultural product distribution center in Henan, the reporter saw that transport vehicles loaded with various fruits lined up in a long queue. Cherries from Chile, rake tangerines from Yunnan, navel oranges from southern Gansu, and dragon fruit from Guangxi have become the most popular products at the moment.
The reporter learned that the overall prices of various fruits are relatively stable at present. Some single products fluctuate due to factors such as the stock volume and transportation costs of the origin. Among them, Chilean cherries have a bumper harvest this year and the shortened transportation time, and the price has dropped significantly compared with the same period last year. Due to the double demand for festivals, the production volume of the origin is tight, and the prices have increased.
Since the sales of fruit gift boxes on the market have doubled. Merchants have launched affordable gift boxes ranging from 30 to 80 yuan for the Spring Festival, highlighting the Spring Festival elements and national trends in their design and packaging.
It is understood that in order to ensure the supply of agricultural products during the Spring Festival, the market organized merchants to increase stocking volume in advance, and the number of vehicles transporting fruits and vegetables in and out of every day was about 25,000, nearly double the increase from usual.
