The reporter learned today that the latest statistical monitoring data released by the State Administration for Market Regulation shows that in 2024, the passing rate of my country's manufacturing product quality reached 93.93%, an increase of 0.28 percentage points from the previous year. The overall level of product quality in my country continues to be stable and positive, and the quality level of product quality in key industries and key areas continues to improve.
From the perspective of key industries, with the deepening of special actions such as large-scale equipment renewal and consumer goods exchange for new products and quality chain strengthening, the improvement of the quality level of equipment manufacturing industries such as electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries, instrument manufacturing, and automobile manufacturing have been further enhanced. Among them, the quality pass rate of products in the electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industries increased by more than 3 percentage points, the quality pass rate of products in the instrument manufacturing industry increased by more than 1 percentage point, and the quality pass rate of products in the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 0.1 percentage point.
From the regional perspective, the quality pass rate of manufacturing products in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in my country has reached more than 90% for the first time.
The gap in product quality levels between the western and northeastern regions and the eastern and central regions has further narrowed.
The quality advantages of key regions such as the Pearl River Delta, the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Sichuan and Chongqing are outstanding, 0.8, 0.6, 0.4 and 0.1 percentage points higher than the national average, respectively, playing a leading and driving role in promoting product quality improvement.
