CCTV News: According to the Ministry of Transport, on January 21, 2025 (the 8th day of the Spring Festival travel rush, the 22nd day of the twelfth lunar month), the cross-regional personnel flow in the whole society was 230.541 million, an increase of 3.6% month-on-month and 15.2% over the same period in 2024.
>>The railway passenger volume was 13.123 million, a month-on-month decrease of 3.4%, an increase of 8.1% over the same period in 2024.
>>The flow of highway personnel (including the travel volume of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways and commercial passenger traffic) was 214.43 million, an increase of 4.1% month-on-month and 15.8% over the same period in 2024. Among them, the number of business passengers on highways was 33.75 million, an increase of 1.6% month-on-month, an increase of 25% over the same period in 2024; the number of non-commercial passenger buses on expressways and ordinary national and provincial highways was 180.68 million, an increase of 4.5% month-on-month, an increase of 14.2% over the same period in 2024.
