Early in the morning, a long line was lined up at the entrance of the Yunmeng County Museum in Hubei Province. How can the museums in the county be so charming?

"After the Sleeping Hudi Qin Shop was released, the number of tourists increased by 10 times, and the average daily reception volume reached 8,000 people." A relevant person in charge of Yunmeng County Museum introduced.

Yunmeng County is named after the ancient Yunmengze, which is "the same color as the water and the sky". In 1975, several migrant workers accidentally discovered the Qin Tomb of Sleeping Hudi while digging a drainage channel, and a large number of Qin bamboo slips were found here.

Yunmeng has unearthed more than 3,000 bamboo slips in eight batches from the Qin to the early Han Dynasty, including the first Chinese law - Qin law, the first long Chinese article goblet - Zhengjiahu wooden goblet, and the first Chinese letter - Black Fu wooden slip. Yunmeng has also become one of the most concentrated areas of Qin bamboo slips.

The Yunmeng County Museum now has more than 5,000 cultural relics, including 49 national first-class cultural relics. In August 2024, Yunmeng County Museum was recognized as a national second-level museum.

Walking into the Yunmeng County Museum, on the huge curved walls of the hall, a mural of Chu and Qin culture lacquerware came into view, and the glory of the thousand-year-old ancient Yunmeng appeared in it. The first floor is equipped with the ancient Yunmeng Ancient Civilization Exhibition, which displays historical chapters such as the ancient Ze, the legend of the southern land, the capital of the Chu Kingdom, the important town of the Great Qin, the Jiangxia County, and the Long River of Time; the second floor is equipped with the Qin and Han lacquer wood exhibition, the Qin and Han bamboo slips exhibition, the immersive experience hall, the calligraphy study room and other exhibition halls, and the highlights of the museum are hidden here; the third floor is equipped with a multi-functional hall, a study room, an archaeological experience hall and a roof garden.

"This is the earliest physical item of family letters found in our country so far." The tour guide Feng Yuan stood in front of "The Black Wooden Tie" to introduce to tourists that the content of family letters can be roughly divided into two parts: the first part is to ask about the situation of mother and family, and report on his war situation on the front line; the second part expresses that he lacks clothes and money on the front line, hoping that his family can send clothes, etc.

"It turns out that the dialogue between ancient and modern times and family members all have many similarities. For most tourists, they may not understand the words on the bamboo slips just by reading them. In recent years, Yunmeng County Museum has used the electronic screen behind the display cabinet to simplify the "complex" Qin simplification. At the same time, technological elements such as AR and cultural relics interactive screens have been added to introduce digital people to popularize the stories of bamboo slips and increase the interactive experience of tourists.

"There are too many tourists in the past two months. In the past, I only explained about three times a day, but now I have to explain about twenty times a day." Faced with a large number of tourists, Feng Yuan's work has become unprecedentedly busy. "This Spring Festival, the number of tourists will probably be more."
