In the past ten years, my country's annual production and sales of new energy vehicles have ranged from 10,000 to 10,000 vehicles, and its products have been exported to more than 70 countries and regions, accounting for more than 60% of the world, becoming a "bright business card" for China's manufacturing. In 2024, the sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 40.9% of the total sales of new cars, ranking first in the world for 10 consecutive years. In the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will take targeted measures to strive to maintain the good momentum of the development of the new energy vehicle industry.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also stated that in the next step, it will also implement preferential policies such as car trade-in, new energy vehicle purchase tax reduction and exemption, and actively expand new energy vehicle consumption. Formulate guiding opinions on promoting the development of battery swap model and strive to promote the pilot program of comprehensive electrification of vehicles in the public sector. At the same time, explore the management of automotive carbon emissions and carbon footprints of automotive power batteries.
