After the earthquake, there were continuous aftershocks in many places such as Tainan City, Chiayi County. As of 6:00 a.m. on the 22nd, five aftershocks with obvious tremors occurred one after another, with the largest aftershock 5.4, and the epicenter was located in the southern waters of Taiwan.
