A 25-meter-long conveyor belt extends in front of the bow, which continuously delivers the sand material on the boat to the steel solid hopper in front of Lao Liang. On that day, they took advantage of the operation window brought by the ebb of sea water to fill the station with 700 tons of machine sand and 900 tons of small pebbles with particle sizes of 10 to 20 mm to ensure that the concrete station production will not be stopped.
The location of Liang Zhijing and his colleagues is on the sea 2 nautical miles offshore. A maritime platform with a total area of more than 50,000 square meters constitutes the maritime space for builders to live and work. The Liuwudian Waterway Bridge, which workers worked overtime, is a key control project for Xiamen Bridge (Xiamen Section). It has a total length of 1,948 meters. It is the largest span bridge in Fujian Province and the first fully offshore in-sea suspension bridge in Fujian Province. Before the Spring Festival, the project department will complete the task of pouring the bottom cover concrete for 6,000 square meters of caisson beams and 6,640 square meters of main tower box.
