CCTV News: The reporter learned from the summary meeting of the "Seagull" joint action of the Lancang-Mekong Comprehensive Law Enforcement Security Cooperation Center held in Kunming, Yunnan on January 21 that from August to December 2024, in order to implement the spirit of the Fourth Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Leaders' Meeting and the "Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Five-Year Action Plan (2023-2027)", the Lancang-Mekong Law Enforcement Cooperation Center organized and implemented the "Seagull" joint law enforcement action, and coordinated the law enforcement departments of Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam to jointly combat regional telecommunications network fraud crimes and their derivative crimes and gun and ammunition smuggling crimes, and achieved pragmatic results. According to preliminary statistics, during the operation, all parties solved more than 160 cases of various types, mainly telefals, arrested more than 70,000 suspects, and rescued more than 160 victims.
