While the railway department is increasing its transportation capacity, the use of a batch of smart devices is also ensuring that passengers can go home safely and comfortably for the New Year. The Fengyuzhou Yangtze River Bridge is a control project of the Annext Section of the Beijing-Hong Kong High-speed Railway. During the Spring Festival travel rush, the railway department will use scientific and technological means to protect the cross-river channels to ensure the safety of high-speed rail operation.
At midnight, a beam of light slowly climbed and the operators began the bridge inspection work. As a cable-stayed bridge for the twin-tower cross-cable cables, the 304 cable-stayed cables of the Brucezhou Yangtze River Bridge are not only an important skeleton to support the bridge, but also a focus of bridge safety inspection.
Fang Yangyang, an employee of the Jiujiang Bridge Section of the Nanchang Bureau of the National Railway, said: "The full name of this equipment is the bridge cable-stayed cable intelligent detection robot. It can conduct comprehensive inspection of the safety and health status of cable-stayed cables. It is safer and faster than the previous manual use of ladders to check."
The Fengyuzhou Yangtze River Bridge is 252 meters high. Multiple sets of sensing equipment are installed on the main tower to conduct real-time monitoring of 13 monitoring projects including temperature, humidity, cable force, wind force, etc. at 451 monitoring points. At the bridge pier position below 25 meters on the river surface, the wireless crack comprehensive detection machine is observing to detect whether water flow erosion and the bridge is subjected to a long period of time, causing water leakage inside the bridge pier.
The Jiujiang Bridge Section of the National Railway Nanchang Bureau said: "This is a small crack that we found during the last inspection. We conducted the second on-site observation according to the cycle. Now we observe the seam width."
The main bridge deck of the bridge is spliced by steel box girders. This year's Spring Festival travel rush, the dehumidification system in the bridge's steel box girders was put into use for the first time, and it is connected to the monitoring system. It can intelligently adjust the temperature and humidity, reduce the corrosion of the steel beam welds, and extend the maintenance cycle.
