CCTV News: According to the WeChat official account of the National Energy Administration, on January 21, the National Energy Administration released the national power industry statistics for 2024.
As of the end of December, the national cumulative installed capacity of power generation was about 3.35 billion kilowatts, an increase of 14.6% year-on-year. Among them, the installed capacity of solar power generation was about 890 million kilowatts, an increase of 45.2% year-on-year; the installed capacity of wind power was about 520 million kilowatts, an increase of 18.0% year-on-year.
In 2024, the cumulative average utilization of power generation equipment in power plants of 6,000 kilowatts and above across the country was 3,442 hours, a decrease of 157 hours over the same period last year; the power supply project of major power generation enterprises in the country completed 116.87 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%; the power grid project completed 608.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.3%.
