A: China welcomes and warmly congratulates Indonesia on becoming an official member of the BRICS. As a major developing country and an important force in the "Global South", Indonesia highly recognizes the spirit of the BRICS and actively participates in the "BRICS+" cooperation. Indonesia's official joining the BRICS is in line with the common interests of BRICS countries and the "Global South". I believe it will make positive contributions to the development of the BRICS mechanism.
