CCTV News (News Network): At the beginning of the new year, a number of new foreign investment projects have been stepping up construction in various parts of my country. Foreign-funded enterprises are optimistic about the new opportunities brought by China's super-large-scale market, innovative vitality, and open policies, and continue to participate in China's economic development in depth.

Earing the New Year, Parkson Shopping Center located in the center of Shanghai is speeding up the "revitalization" new transformation. This foreign department store, which was first established in Shanghai, signed a 15-year contract with the owner two months ago after the contract expired.

In addition to paying attention to the opportunities brought by China's consumption upgrading, many foreign-funded enterprises are also optimistic about the opportunities contained in the digitalization of China's manufacturing industry. In Suzhou, Jiangsu, two new factories of the Swiss instrument company are stepping up construction to expand the production capacity of smart instrument products.

Biomedicine is one of the key areas in which my country has promoted the expansion of opening up in recent times. In Yizhuang, Beijing, French-funded enterprise Sanofi recently announced that it would invest 1 billion euros to set up a new production base here, setting a record for the company's largest single investment in China.

The restrictions on foreign investment access in the manufacturing industry have been "cleared", and the opening pilot projects in the service industry such as telecommunications, medical care, and education have been continuously expanded. China is relying on new advantages and new opportunities to attract the gathering of global factors.

The British Chamber of Commerce of China and the German Chamber of Commerce of China recently released survey reports, 76% of British companies plan to maintain or increase investment in China, 92% of German companies will continue to operate in China, and more than half will increase investment in the next two years.
