CCTV News (News Network): Starting from 0:00 on January 5, the national railway will implement new train operation maps, which is the largest railway adjustment map before the Spring Festival travel rush. After the map adjustment, the national railways added 230 passenger trains, with a total of 13,028 trains, and the additional trains further facilitate passengers' travel.
Train departures from municipal stations have been added to many routes in Chengdu and Chongqing, and the railway travel time from Longyan, Fujian to Beijing has been shortened by 10 hours. Cross-border passenger trains from Xi'an, Wuhan, Zhengzhou and other places have been launched for the first time to West Kowloon, Hong Kong. After the map adjustment, 91 freight trains were added to the national railway, with a total of 22,859 trains, providing capacity support for the winter energy supply and the transportation of key materials during the Spring Festival travel rush.
