Thousands of silver flowers bloom, and the pure and innocent branches sway gently on the riverside, like a dream. The white ice and snow on the branches are like works of art carved by skillful hands, shining with dazzling light, making people sigh at the magic and beauty of nature.

The ice and snow in Jilin are the most charming protagonists in winter. Flying snowboards and flying snow waves, at the Songhua Lake Ski Resort, ski enthusiasts dive down from a high place, intimately contacting the ice and snow, feeling the sparks colliding with speed and passion. They laughed and ran, enjoying the joy brought by the snow and ice.

On the rime island, the trees on the shore seem to have been magically employed by nature. The water vapor condenses on the branches. When it encounters low temperatures, each branch is wrapped in crystal clear silver. The rime is like countless blooming pear blossoms, densely hung on the branches. Under the gentle sunshine, they shine with white light, like stars falling all over the world. The island has a wide variety of exquisite ice sculptures and snow sculptures, showing the artists' ingenuity and talent.

Jilin rime mostly appears from December to February of the following year. When rime appears, the river embankment for dozens of miles is "covered with silver and jade". The willow trees have pear blossoms, and the pine and cypress bloom with white chrysanthemums. Visitors are in it, as if they have entered a fairyland on earth. In recent years, Jilin has digged deep into the tourism resource of rime and held the 30th Frost Ice and Snow Festival. Going to Jilin to watch rime has become a must-have option for many tourists to come to Northeast China.

Jilin City is located in the "World Golden Powder Snow Belt". It has good snow quality, long snow period, deep snow accumulation, rich ice and snow resources and high-quality. Today, Jilin City continues to polish the city’s business card of “Rhombus Capital and Ski Paradise”, making the ice and snow economy and culture bigger and bigger. Jilin City’s high-quality development pilot zone for ice and snow economy is a provincial-level high-quality development platform for ice and snow economy in Jilin Province. In the third anniversary of its establishment, the pilot zone has been anchored to build a "4+X" industrial pattern of the ice and snow economy and accelerated the construction of a source of new quality productivity for the ice and snow economy.

The winter in Jilin City is a fusion of ice and snow and passion, and a dialogue between nature and humanities. In front of the camera, many people sang and danced happily in the snow and ice world.
