CCTV News: According to the website of the National Development and Reform Commission, in order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Second and Third Plenary Sessions of the 20th Central Committee and accelerate the promotion and application of advanced and applicable green technologies, the National Development and Reform Commission, together with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and the National Energy Administration issued the "Green Technology Promotion Catalog (2024 Edition)" (Development and Reform Environmental Resources [2024] No. 1812, hereinafter referred to as the "Catalogue").
The Catalog selects 112 advanced green technologies in seven major industries, including energy-saving and carbon reduction industries, environmental protection industries, resource recycling industries, green energy transformation, ecological protection and restoration and utilization, green infrastructure upgrades, and green services, and lists the process technical content, main technical parameters, practical application cases, ecological benefits, etc. of each technology. All relevant parties can understand the main principles, path directions, application scenarios and implementation effects of the relevant technologies based on this, and promote and use them in combination with their own actual conditions.
In the next step, the National Development and Reform Commission will work with relevant departments to organize and carry out technology roadshows, results promotion and other activities in conjunction with National Ecological Day, National Energy Conservation Promotion Week, etc. to promote the industrialization of technology. Financial institutions are encouraged to strengthen financing support for the application of green technology in the Catalogue through green credit, green bonds, carbon emission reduction support tools, etc.
