As the Spring Festival approaches, the Chinese knot production in Tancheng County, Shandong Province has reached the busiest time of the year. There are 70 professional villages for Chinese knot production here, which is also the largest Chinese knot production base in the country. The head of a local company told reporters that since the beginning of the year, the company has specially equipped 6 shipping workshops, and as many as 30,000 items are shipped from here every day. The surge in orders comes from the innovation of enterprises. In order to cater to overseas market demand, designers have integrated various trendy elements in traditional craftsmanship.

The Spring Festival is approaching, and the lanterns that symbolize the "Chinese New Year" have also ushered in the "going out to sea fever". In Gaocheng District, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, Tuntou Village, known as the "No. 1 Palace Lantern Village in China", every household is rushing to make palace lanterns to meet the needs of the festival market.
With a skeleton, putting lampshades, stroking gold bars, and sticking auspicious clouds, there are 56 processes in the traditional Tuntou Palace Lantern. After long-term innovative development, the variety of palace lanterns in Tuntou Village has become increasingly rich, including more than 300 varieties such as wood-carved palace lanterns, sheepskin lanterns, and craft paper-carved colored lanterns, which meet the needs of consumers from different countries.

In Tuntou Village, more than 90% of the villagers in the village are engaged in related industries, and the sales of palace lanterns account for 80% of the national market share. This year, the palace lantern products here are exported to more than 10 countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam.
