CCTV News: Recently, the Ministry of Transport sent 10 inspection and guidance teams to 20 provinces across the country to carry out on-site supervision and inspection and guidance on the inspection and rectification of major risks and hidden dangers for transportation safety during the Spring Festival travel and the Spring Festival holiday. The leaders of the Ministry of Transport also led a team to relevant provinces to provide on-site guidance.
Each inspection and guidance group will focus on checking the work progress of management departments at all levels by holding seminars, reviewing work materials, checking major risk and hidden danger investigations, etc., and extending them to enterprises in key areas for verification-based verification. For the problems found, promptly feedback to the relevant competent departments, put forward rectification opinions, and urge the implementation of closed-loop rectification.
It is understood that in accordance with the unified arrangement and deployment of the Ministry of Transport, the investigation and rectification of major risks and hidden dangers for transportation safety during the Spring Festival travel rush and Spring Festival holidays was launched in late December 2024, and it was carried out in four stages: training, self-inspection and inspection, random inspection and inspection, and ministerial inspection and guidance.
The action focuses on major risks and hidden dangers in transportation safety production, comprehensively and in-depth investigation and rectification, promote the implementation of safety responsibilities, strictly implement closed-loop rectification and control measures, resolutely prevent and curb major accidents and influential incidents, and make every effort to ensure the stability of the industry's safety production situation during the Spring Festival travel rush and the Spring Festival holiday. The mobilization and deployment training stage and the self-inspection and inspection stage have been completed, and all provincial and municipal transportation authorities are carrying out the random inspection and inspection stage.
