In this market full of traditional Chinese charm, the colorful immersive experience projects allow more than 30 foreign students from the Ningbo Institute of Materials, the School of Business, the School of Foreign Languages and the School of International Exchange of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to experience the strong Chinese New Year atmosphere in the international community.
The traditional bamboo root carving in the Bund Street and the Zhou Xinfang drama intangible cultural heritage experience project in Cicheng Town have been popular among international students. At the booth of the bamboo root carving experience, lifelike bamboo root carving works amaze everyone. Under the guidance of Jiangbei District Cultural Commissioner Zhu Feng, the international students also felt the twists and turns on the tip of a "Chinese-style" knife. At the Zhou Xinfang's intangible cultural heritage booth, painting facebooks and wearing costumes have become a must-check-in and take photos. The interesting facebooks and unique costumes have made foreign youths more impressed with China.

"Today's event gave me a sense of the liveliness and festiveness of the Chinese New Year, and also gave me the opportunity to introduce Pakistan's culture to more people." ATIF ALI, a Pakistani student from Ningbo Institute of Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences, said excitedly.
On the day of the event, not only many parent-child families were attracted to participate, but also volunteers from Ningbo University and international part-time grid workers, who turned into cultural messengers, provided translation assistance to international students, and also served as cultural commentators and distributed foreign-related legal service manuals. Everyone felt the unique charm of the traditional Chinese New Year in laughter and joy.
