On January 5, the General Administration of Customs announced and issued 15 measures to support the new era of further promoting the formation of a new pattern of western development.
New measures focus:
The construction of open ports in the western region, support the opening or expansion of opening up of ports in regions that are in real need and meet the conditions, and support the construction of smart ports;
Explore and innovate facilitation measures such as river-sea transport and railway-sea transport, and support the high-quality development of multimodal transport;
Support the construction of international aviation hubs such as Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, Xi'an, Urumqi;
Explore and carry out reforms such as "district-port integration" in the western region.
