So far, the total number of China-Europe freight trains in the Greater Bay Area has exceeded 4,000, conveying a strong pulse of the development of the Greater Bay Area's foreign trade economy.

In 2024, the scale of foreign trade in Guangdong Province exceeded 9 trillion yuan, showing strong growth momentum. With the continuous acceleration of the integration and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, foreign trade demand has steadily grown. Based on the manufacturing advantages of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Guangdong-Train Group has conducted research in foreign trade enterprises, actively explored the expansion of China-Europe freight trains, and successively launched cross-border e-commerce trains, international postage and package trains, boutique fast trains, international cold chain trains, new energy trains and other China-Europe "customized" trains. The freight stations cover almost all geographical units in the Eurasian continent, and have successively connected more than 50 countries and regions for co-construction of the "Belt and Road" and opened up two-way foreign trade circulation channels.

As the Spring Festival holiday approaches, the business of China-Europe freight trains will also usher in a peak period. Guangzhou Railway Group has opened a 24-hour green and warm channel for the China-Europe freight train, and jointly built an "integrated" cross-border logistics platform with port areas, customs and platform companies. Le Jianzhong, deputy manager of Dalang Business Department of Guangzhou-Shenzhen Railway Logistics Center, introduced: "In order to efficiently respond to the peak of shipment at the beginning of the year, we have worked closely with the customs to build a high-time and stable import and export channel. On the premise of ensuring strict supervision, we ensure that the customs clearance of trains is 'arrived, checked and released' and arrive at the destination as quickly as possible."

Guangdong Railway Group will also accurately connect with the needs of foreign trade enterprises in the Greater Bay Area, increase the frequency of China-Europe freight trains, add new return lines, launch more personalized transportation lines, strengthen radiation and drive, and create a stable railway logistics channel to promote the "bullish and export of goods and goods", and contribute railway strength to the high-quality integration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area into the "Belt and Road" initiative and the new development pattern of "dual circulation".
