According to the project manager of China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau, the Fuchimen Road and Rail Dual-purpose Bridge is located in Zhoushan City, Zhejiang Province, connecting Zhoushan Island and Fuchi Island. The bridge is about 1,726 meters long and has a main span of 388 meters. It adopts the same floor layout of a double-line railway and a 6-lane expressway. The bridge site is covered with large reefs at the bottom of the sea, and the water conditions are complex.
The Ningbo-Zhouzhou Railway is about 77 kilometers long and is a large-scale cross-sea island-connected project in the world. After the railway is completed, the history of Zhoushan's lack of railways will end.
