Data show that in the first three quarters, cultural and related industry enterprises above designated size across the country achieved operating income of 10.821 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.3%. Among them, operating income in cultural core areas such as cultural investment operations and creative design services has achieved rapid growth.

Pan Xuhua, deputy director of the Cultural Industry Division of the Social Science, Technology and Cultural Industry Statistics Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, said that it is worth noting that the leading and driving role of the new cultural industry has become more prominent. The operating income of industries such as digital publishing, copyright and cultural software services, and Internet advertising services achieved double-digit growth in the first three quarters. The development momentum of new business types and industries continues to be released.

The development of the cultural service industry continues to improve. In the first three quarters, the operating income of the cultural service industry increased by 7.3% year-on-year, and operating income accounted for more than 60% of cultural enterprises above designated size. Among them, cultural investment and asset management, cultural activity services and other industries achieved double-digit rapid growth in revenue.
