CCTV News: The head of international institutions in China said that China's export growth is strong and policy measures are introduced in a timely and powerful manner, providing an important driving force for economic growth in 2024. China remains a major contributor to global GDP growth.
Relevant person in charge of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in China said that in 2024, China will continue to advance its transformation to a sustainable growth model, while also making efforts in fiscal and monetary policies to stimulate economic vitality.

Haibo, the representative of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development in China, said: "There is a monetary policy to reduce interest rates and lower reserve requirement ratios. At the same time, China has also introduced measures to support consumption, which of course has potential and will become an important driving force for China's economic growth."

The "Economic Outlook Report" released by the OECD in December 2024 predicts that the global economic growth rate will be about 3.2% in 2024, and there is certain downward pressure on global economic growth. Haibo said that although there are some economic headwinds and uncertainties in the external market, China still has potential and room for structural reform in 2025, and there is still a good foundation for achieving economic growth.

Haibo said: "China is an important factor in the global economy and an important participant, so as long as it is beneficial to China, it is beneficial to the world. China will remain an important contributor to future global GDP growth."
