As the Spring Festival approaches, more than half of the more than 500 households in the village are busy making community fire props like Huo Yunlong. Why can so many craftsmen gather in the small village? The story is hidden in the store name of every household.

The beard is a fake beard worn by opera characters. Huo Shengjun, 56 years old this year, is already the fourth generation successor of the beard. Different characters are matched with different beards, which has extremely high requirements for the producer's skill in twisting the thread.

The production of Huozhuang Village community fire props has a history of more than 100 years, from the initial drama costumes to more than 30 categories such as lion dance, dragon dance, and colored fans. The villagers inherit the craftsmanship of the older generation and are also exploring new materials and new methods.

Huo Yunlong, a villager in Huozhuang Village, Lingjing Town, Xuchang City, Henan Province, introduced that this lion head has a history of more than 80 years. This is the oldest one made of kraft paper layer by layer. At that time, the elderly in the village were doing it slowly, and now they were formed in one piece, without having to do it layer by layer, which was a little more time-saving.

The traditional dragon and phoenix dance fly on the ground, while the young people in the village put them in the "wings" of drones. The reporter came to the studio of villager Huo Haoran and was about to catch up with them to provide a pre-delivery introduction for a flying phoenix. The dragon dance and phoenix dance that are installed on the flight system can be controlled freely like a drone, allowing the "Flying Dragon in the Sky" described in the classics to enter reality.

A family workshop for several people is difficult to effectively meet the needs of peak season orders after all. To this end, the village also introduced an embroidery assembly line. In the workshop, manual design and computer production were used to make an order for more than 400 pairs of drama boots.

Now in Huozhuang Village, social fire props with annual sales exceeding 120 million yuan have embarked on the road of industrial development. The collision of traditional styles with young creativity and modern craftsmanship gives a new expression of the New Year atmosphere conveyed by the community fire props, and also allows Huozhuang Village to create its own cultural symbol.
