The China Federation of Logistics and Procurement announced the China E-commerce Logistics Index for June today (9th). Driven by the continued efforts of the old-for-new policy and the concentrated promotion of e-commerce platforms, consumers' enthusiasm for online shopping in June was high, and companies reported that order volume and user activity hit a record high.

China's e-commerce logistics index in June was 111.8 points, up 0.2 points from the previous month. The index rose month-on-month for four consecutive months and hit a new high in the year in June.

In the main sub-indexes, the total business volume index, rural business volume index, personnel index, and load rate index all increased month-on-month. Specifically, the total business volume index of e-commerce logistics in June was 130.8 points, up 0.6 points from the previous month. The month-on-month increase of the rural business volume index of e-commerce logistics has further expanded. In June, the rural business volume index of e-commerce logistics was 130.4 points, up 0.8 points from the previous month. The year-on-year growth rate of rural business volume exceeded 30% for the first time this year.

From the demand perspective, the e-commerce consumption scenarios are diversified and complex, with household goods stockpiling and replenishing goods and seasonal procurement in summer. At the same time, e-commerce platform companies have increased their efforts to promote foreign trade quality products to provide residents with diverse consumption options.

From the supply perspective, driven by the old-for-new policy, the consumption vitality in the digital home appliance field is significant and the order volume has increased, which puts forward higher requirements on the capacity organization, distribution timeliness and service quality of e-commerce logistics.

From the later stage, with the arrival of the graduation season and the peak consumption season for summer, the e-commerce logistics market is expected to continue to maintain a steady upward trend.
