CCTV News (News Network): The earthquake relief work in Dingri County, Tibet continues to be carried out, and all parties are accelerating the resettlement work and making every effort to ensure the lives of the people.
At present, earthquake-stricken areas are shifting from the temporary resettlement stage to the transitional resettlement stage. The construction of prefabricated houses is fully promoted, and more than 6,100 units have been built, and we strive to complete all construction work before the Spring Festival. At the same time, we will make every effort to organize the allocation of heating materials to fully ensure the supply of food materials.

The search and rescue work of property of the affected people is being carried out in 25 administrative villages in the earthquake zone.
As of the afternoon of January 17, the fire department has helped the affected people clean up 1,055 ruins after the earthquake and rescued more than 85,000 items of property.

The assessment of disaster-affected houses and on-site clearance and transportation are being carried out in an accelerated manner. In Changsuo Township, Dingri County, the assessment of 817 affected houses has been completed, providing a corresponding reference for subsequent reconstruction work. After the assessment is completed, cleaning and operation of the house ruins is underway.
On January 17, the "Public Welfare Winter Vacation Class" opened at the Gurong Village resettlement site. More than 20 local teachers who voluntarily returned to work together with college student volunteers to provide children with various types of courses such as traditional culture, music, and art.
