CCTV News: According to the WeChat official account of "China Railway", from January to April this year, the national railway sent a total of 1.299 billion tons of goods, a year-on-year increase of 3.6%; the average daily loading of 180,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 4.7%, providing strong support for smooth domestic and international dual circulation and ensuring the stable operation of the national economy.

The railway department conscientiously implements the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, the National Two Sessions, and the deployment requirements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on accelerating the construction of a modern logistics system and reducing logistics costs in the whole society, continues to deepen the market-oriented reform of railway freight, focuses on serving the national economy and the production and life of the people, carefully organizes cargo transportation, improves the quality of freight services, and ensures smooth and efficient railway logistics.

First, the transportation of key materials for national economy and people's livelihood is strongly guaranteed. Make full use of the main freight channels such as Daqin, Tangbao, Wari, and Haoji, continue to do a good job in the transportation of Xinjiang coal, make every effort to ensure the national economy and people's livelihood key materials, open up green channels, give priority to transportation capacity, and ensure full loading and efficient delivery. From January to April, the national railway sent 672 million tons of coal, of which 464 million tons of electric coal were employed. The coal storage in direct power plants of railways remained at a high level, and the transportation volume of mining materials and smelting materials increased by 29.3% and 10.7% year-on-year respectively.

The second is that the quality of railway logistics services continues to improve. We will vigorously develop logistics general contracting services and promote the "road to rail" for bulk cargo transportation. In April, 114 new logistics general contracts were signed, with a contracted volume of 216 million tons, an increase of 159% and 350% year-on-year respectively. We will explore the launch of "Yu Jiao Lu Coal" and other major logistics general contracting buses, make full use of transportation resources, and improve the comprehensive efficiency of transportation. It expanded cooperation with shipping companies and developed 119 "one-order" products for multimodal transport, compressed the transportation time limit and reduced the logistics costs throughout the process. From January to April, the national railway sent a total of 5.381 million standard containers of rail-water container cargo, an increase of 19.1% year-on-year. We have actively expanded railway logistics and financial services, and have served a total of 796 customers, with a total credit financing of 19.514 billion yuan.

The third is that cross-border cargo transportation is stable and smooth. Strengthen communication and coordination with overseas railway departments, improve port delivery efficiency, strengthen full-process operation control and safety guarantees, and ensure stable and smooth cross-border cargo transportation. From January to April, the China-Europe freight trains remained stable, with a total of 4,725 freight trains running in Central Asia, an increase of 21% year-on-year. The China-Laos Railway sent a total of 1.976 million tons of cross-border cargo, an increase of 7.6% year-on-year, effectively promoting international economic and trade exchanges.
