At 9:28 am, flight MU5331, carried out by the domestic large aircraft C919 with aircraft number B-657T, took off from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. After nearly 2 hours of flight, it successfully arrived at Shenzhen Bao'an Airport at 11:31. This marks the official launch of the domestic large aircraft C919 into the Shanghai Hongqiao-Shenzhen direct round-trip route. On that day, the round-trip maiden flights were almost full.
It is reported that the Shanghai Hongqiao-Shenzhen flight carried out by the C919 model will fly the MU5351/MU5360 round-trip flight from May 19, with one round-trip flight every day. The outbound flight number is MU5351, departing from Shanghai Hongqiao at 17:40 and arriving in Shenzhen at 20:05; the return flight number is MU5360, departing from Shenzhen at 21:30 and arriving in Shanghai Hongqiao at 23:55. This route is the first time that the domestic large aircraft C919 has opened a regular commercial route in Shenzhen. After C919 takes flights to the Shenzhen-Shanghai route, it will help improve the normal rate and operation efficiency of this route during thunderstorms and frequent flow control.
In addition, the reporter also learned from China Eastern Airlines that China Eastern Airlines will start receiving a new batch of C919 aircraft in the near future. This year, China Eastern Airlines plans to receive another 10 C919s, and the fleet size of C919 will reach 20.
