The main contents of the "Ten Practical Things" include carrying out the "Know and Use with confidence" action, streamlining and optimizing the telecommunications fee packages for public users on sale, realizing full disclosure, and not selling without public announcement; optimizing the online telecommunications business service standards, formulating service standards for mobile phone business halls; standardizing marketing and promotion behavior, making telecommunications business promotion comprehensive and accurate, key content is noticeable, and the agreement text is clear and understandable; upgrading business usage reminders, automatic renewal and automatic renewal remind users through prominent methods such as SMS, notification bar messages, phone calls, etc. 5 days before, mobile phone traffic is over-packed, and super-packed capped services can be launched, and users can choose the capped threshold level by themselves.
In addition, convenient service unsubscribe, standardize the process of unsubscribe for telecommunications services, and complete the process on-site if the conditions meet the conditions, and return the phone bill balance in a timely manner; improve the level of elderly-friendly services, and the customer service hotline realizes "one-click call in manual customer service" for elderly users over 65 years old; promote openness and transparency of algorithm recommendations, and publicize the basic principles, purpose and operating mechanism of Internet application algorithm services to users in an appropriate manner; protect user sensitive permissions, and realize real-time reminders for call microphones, cameras, and positioning of mobile terminals; promote "no disturbances when calling and sending" services, and provide personalized protection for marketing phones and text messages based on user registration wishes; promote "one-click unbinding" of secondary numbers, and provide service channels for secondary numbers (i.e., recycle re-enabled numbers) users, and support unblocking the historical binding relationship between numbers and commonly used Internet application services.

The "Ten Practical Things" were jointly proposed by the China Communications Enterprise Association, the China Internet Association, and the China Internet Association organized basic telecommunications companies and related Internet companies, and were officially released at the 2025 World Telecommunications and Information Society Day commemoration event and the 160th anniversary event of the International Telecommunications Union held in Nanchang, Jiangxi.
