On May 15, at the site of the Zhongludian Ruoqiang 4 million kilowatt photovoltaic project in Ruoqiang County, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, photovoltaic panels continued, shining brightly under the sunlight.
This project is the "Shagohuang" photovoltaic project with the largest single capacity in my country. It was connected to the grid in December 2024. It is expected that after it is transferred to commercial operation at the end of May this year, the annual power generation will reach 6.9 billion kWh, which can meet the annual use of 2 million households at the same time. It can save about 2.08 million tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 5.71 million tons, which plays an important role in the green and low-carbon transformation of the economy and society.
