CCTV News: The reporter learned from the China Railway Corporation on May 16 that the railway train tickets for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday will be on sale on May 16. The Dragon Boat Festival holiday transportation will be launched from May 30 to June 3, with a total of 5 days, and the peak of passenger flow is expected to be May 31.

The 2025 Dragon Boat Festival holiday is from May 31 to June 2. Railway Dragon Boat Festival holiday transportation is postponed one day in advance to facilitate passengers to travel staggered peak hours. The first day of holiday transportation, that is, train tickets on May 30 will be on sale from May 16. Passengers can pre-fille information in advance on the 12306 website or mobile client, and understand the ticket sales time of each station in advance.

Hu Lijia, a staff member of the 12306 Customer Service Center of the Hohhot Bureau of the National Railway, introduced that the tickets for May 30 will be released from May 16, and by May 19, tickets for the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday will be released. Also, note that the starting time of different stations is different. For example, the starting time of Hohhot Station and Hohhot East Station is 14:00, and the starting time of Baotou Station and Baotou East Station is 14:30.

During holiday transportation, the national railways implemented peak operation maps. During popular routes and periods, capacity deployment is increased by adding temporary passenger trains, EMU train reconnection, night high-speed trains, and ordinary-speed trains to add vehicles to the car.

The railway reminds that passengers travel during the holidays are highly concentrated, and some popular trains with better time periods and shorter running times may have "crowded demand" and tight ticket amounts.

Pilots can choose to purchase tickets for non-tensive periods, or use the functions of waiting ticket purchase, same-track connection, mid-transfer and other functions. In addition to the railway 12306 system, the station still retains manual ticketing windows and cash services to provide convenience for elderly passengers and people who are out of the network.
