The latest data shows that from January to April 2025, my country exported 1.937 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 6%. Among them, 642,000 new energy vehicles were exported, an increase of 52.6% year-on-year.
Experts said that China's leapfrog growth in automobile exports originated from collaborative breakthroughs in multiple dimensions such as technology, supply chain, and logistics. On the technical side, high-safe battery systems, intelligent interactive ecology and vehicle networking technology are iteratively upgraded to build differentiated competitive advantages; on the supply chain side, the entire industrial chain covering core components and intelligent driving software and hardware is independent and controllable, providing reliable support for global automakers; on the logistics side, the construction of independent shipping networks and efficient integration of transportation resources greatly compresses the international transportation cycle and reduces comprehensive costs.
Recently, the new round of "China Automobile Brand Upward Development Special Action" organized by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers was officially launched. This special action focuses on automobiles going overseas for the first time, showing the all-round investment of China's automobiles from "going out" to "going in" and their contribution to global industrial development.
