In the latest publication of "Selected Economic Works of Xi Jinping" (Volume 1), General Secretary Xi Jinping also emphasized that as long as we maintain strategic determination, comprehensively deepen reform and opening up, deepen supply-side structural reform, and make great efforts to resolve the prominent contradictions and problems, China's economy will surely accelerate its transition to the track of high-quality development, the Chinese people will surely overcome all difficulties and challenges on the road ahead, and China will surely usher in a brighter development prospect. This series of important statements is a profound summary of historical experience and the fundamental guideline for us to advance into the new era.

Strategic determination requires a long-term strategic vision and a deeper understanding of the future. Since its birth, the Communist Party of China has taken the original mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation. In the more than a hundred years of struggle, every step has shown its persistent pursuit of long-term goals. Since the new era, facing the arduous and heavy tasks of reform, development and stability, the Party Central Committee has deepened reform and opening up with the determination to "hold on the green mountains and not relax" and promoted high-quality economic development, and has achieved remarkable development achievements. From building a new development pattern of "dual circulation" to implementing the strategy of expanding domestic demand, from improving the industrial chain and supply chain to promoting high-level opening up, every major decision is permeated with the strategic thinking of "self-oriented and seeking progress while maintaining stability".

History and practice have repeatedly proved that strategic determination is the "fixed star" that transcends cycles and resists wind and waves, and is also the "golden key" to seize opportunities and create new situations. Maintaining determination, strengthening confidence, and concentrating on doing your own things well are the key to the successful response of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people to various risks and challenges.

Promoting the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation is a tough battle and a protracted battle. Every task requires long-term efforts. We need to always maintain strategic determination and maintain the spirit of "a newborn calf is not afraid of a tiger" and the tenacity of "accumulating small steps and even reaching a thousand miles". The more complex the environment is, the more we must maintain strategic determination. Faced with the turbulent international environment, strategic determination is reflected in the political clarity of "still calmly flying through the chaotic clouds". When some countries have built "small courtyards and high walls", China insists on expanding high-level opening up, holds the CIIE and the Trade Fair in Services, continues to promote high-quality joint construction of the "Belt and Road", builds a broader stage for win-win cooperation, conveys China's firm determination to open up and cooperate to the world, and practices the important concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind with practical actions. This determination is based on the scientific grasp of historical laws and firm confidence in one's own path.

Maintaining strategic determination also requires us to view "danger" and "opportunity" dialectically. We must see that the current challenges of global supply chain reshaping are nurturing opportunities to build a modern industrial system; external technology blockade and pressure actually stimulate our innovation potential and will to unite. Risks and challenges are not only the touchstone for testing strategic determination, but also the catalyst for creating new development momentum. The key lies in whether we can maintain the determination of "storm and rain are as stable as a mountain" and make good use of the transformation laws of "danger" and "opportunity".

Maintaining strategic determination requires us to plan for the long term and work in the present, so that success does not have to be in my spiritual realm and success must have my historical responsibility, draw a blueprint to the end, run one after another. For example, from planning to construction, Xiongan New Area's "millennium plan" always follows the principle of "world vision, international standards, Chinese characteristics, and high-point positioning"; the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt insists on "jointly protecting and not engaging in large-scale development" to achieve a win-win situation of ecological and economic benefits... All of these practices demonstrate a high sense of responsibility and mission. Today's struggle is not only a breakthrough for the current development, but also a foundation for the future. On the new journey, combining the scientific nature of top-level design with the creativity of grassroots exploration, unifying the overall nature of long-term planning with the targeted nature of current tough problems will surely push forward the great cause of building a strong country and national rejuvenation.

At present, maintaining strategic determination and strengthening strategic thinking requires us to better coordinate the domestic and international situations, and adhere to open development, cooperative development and win-win development. In an international environment full of uncertainty, we not only adhere to the "unconfrontation" of core interests, but also expand the "unconfrontation" of common interests; we not only enhance the "independent and controllable" of key areas, but also deepen the "interconnection" of global cooperation. On the premise of safeguarding national sovereignty, security and development interests, we will promote the construction of a new type of international relations and create a good external environment for realizing Chinese-style modernization.

Standing in a new historical position, facing the great historical mission and glorious task of promoting the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation, we will adhere to the long historical lens of viewing the general trend, the broad global lens of planning the overall situation, and the micro lens of the times to grasp the key, maintain strategic determination, grasp strategic priorities, strengthen development confidence, and concentrate on doing our own things well. As long as we think together and work together, with the resilience of "a thousand strokes and tens of thousands of blows, we will work hard and hard" and the courage and perseverance of "the more difficult and dangerous it is, the more forward it is", and will respond to various challenges with a more positive attitude, we will surely open up a new world for career development and continue to write a more magnificent new chapter in Chinese-style modernization!
