On May 14, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the relevant situation of the 2025 China Internet Civilization Conference.

Yang Jianwen, deputy director of the Central Cyberspace Affairs Office and deputy director of the State Cyberspace Affairs Office, introduced that the 2025 China Cyberspace Affairs Conference will be held in Hefei, Anhui Province from June 10 to 11. The theme of this conference is "Gathering positive energy of the Internet and leading the new trend of the times". It will hold an opening ceremony and main forum, 14 sub-forums and the theme activities of "Technology·Lighting up Internet civilization and space".

According to reports, the main forum will invite responsible persons from relevant departments, experts and scholars, heads of key central news websites, heads of relevant companies, positive energy network celebrities and young students to give keynote speeches, and release excellent cases of online civilization construction and youth network civilization initiatives in 2025, showcase the results of the 100 outstanding account selection results of outstanding achievements in the online mass line, and launch the 2025 National Digital Literacy and Skill Improvement Month activity. The 14 sub-forums will focus on the themes of the Party’s innovative theories online, the cultivation of online civilization, the online culture, the online rule of law, the online rumor refutation, international exchanges and mutual learning of online civilization, and artificial intelligence.
