More than 400 traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment plans, more than 50 traditional Chinese medicine nursing plans, and 20 traditional Chinese medicine intervention guidelines for treating diseases all include dietary adjustment and protection, and are promoted nationwide.
Traditional Chinese medicine food and medicinal diet has gone through thousands of years of practice and development, and has played a unique role in safeguarding the health of the people and preventing and treating diseases and rehabilitation. With the development of the economy and society, people's active health awareness has increased, and traditional Chinese medicine food and medicinal diets have attracted more and more attention.
Ouyang Bo, deputy director of the Department of Integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and Ethnic Minorities of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, introduced that the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine incorporates food and nourishing medicinal diet into safeguarding the health of the people, and has made arrangements for medicinal diet, traditional food and nutrition in documents such as the "Outline of the Strategic Planning for the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2016-2030)" and "National Nutrition Plan (2017-2030)" and other documents; actively plays the role of food and nourishing medicinal diet in health promotion, chronic disease prevention and treatment and rehabilitation, launches and implements the health promotion action of traditional Chinese medicine, and clearly proposes to encourage medical and health institutions to carry out traditional Chinese medicine services.
At the same time, my country continues to strengthen the standardization of food, nutrition, and related talent training. According to reports, the Chinese Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the China Medicinal Diet Research Association have issued 9 Chinese medicine group standards, including the "General Rules for the Standards of Medicinal Diets of Medicinal Diets of Medicinal Diets" and the "Guidelines for Health and Medicinal Diets in Spring"; the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine supports the construction of 4 key disciplines of Chinese medicine health, and supports relevant units to hold national-level traditional Chinese medicine continuing education projects related to food and medicinal diet.
Ouyang Bo said that in the next step, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine will strengthen the popularization and promotion of food, nourishing, and diet, and will guide traditional Chinese medicine hospitals to strengthen the establishment and service capacity of nutrition departments and preventive diseases, and promote family doctors to provide personalized dietary guidance services.
