We must always work hard and work hard for a long time until the customs are truly transformed into customs and lead the social customs with excellent party style." Practice has proved that style construction must be carried out with the long-term persistence of "a drop cannot be abandoned", and work hard for a long time and turn into customs.

Style construction is related to people's support and the life and death of the Party. It is not a stopgap measure at a certain stage, but an eternal subject. From the perspective of dialectical materialism, the development of anything requires long-term accumulation. Only when the quantity reaches a certain level, after a long period of continuous accumulation and repeated multi-layer evolution, will qualitative changes occur. The same is true for style construction, which is not a one-day effort, and requires continuous efforts. Whether it is the development of a good work style or the elimination of stubborn problems, we must have the thinking of working hard for a long time and turning customs into customs.

Live long-term efforts are not only a methodology, but also a value. It conveys people the cognition and attitude of persistence. Yugong moved mountains, Jingwei reclaimed seas, and water dripping through stones are all examples of long-term efforts. They contain persistent beliefs, unwilling attitudes and long-term unremitting efforts. For example, Yugong proposed that "the mountains do not increase" and "the descendants are endless". As long as the mountains are digging, the mountains will be wide open sooner or later. As the saying goes, "The fastest shortcut in the world is not to take shortcuts; the highest reward in the world is to be down-to-earth; those who can succeed for a long time must be long-termists." The attitude and method of long-term efforts can enable people to distinguish "time" and "momentum" from a longer-term perspective and dimension, eliminate temporary hustle and bustle, maintain calmness, tranquility and determination, and give far-reaching meaning to the actions in front of them.

The foundation of turning customs into customs lies in forming a clear understanding from the depths of thoughts and transforming them into conscious actions. "Those who seek the elder of the tree must strengthen its roots; those who want to flow far must dredge its source." The premise of style construction lies in deepening ideological understanding. For party members and cadres, if they relax their thoughts, they will lose their actions. Some work style issues ultimately result from the lack of solid ideological defense and looseness. Many cases show that if the "main switch" of thought is not tightened, there will be various phenomena of derailment and leakage. Therefore, we must deeply understand the importance of long-term efforts in style construction from the perspective of touching the soul of thought. On the one hand, deeply study the Party’s innovative theory, use the Party’s innovative theory to solve ideological confusions, and examine whether the work style and mental state are in place. In particular, we must take this learning and education as an opportunity to carefully study and understand General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on strengthening the Party’s work style construction, conscientiously implement the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations and their implementation rules, improve ideological awareness, clear the fog of thought, and realize from the bottom of our hearts the true meaning of long-term work style construction. On the other hand, enhance subjective consciousness and maintain the true nature of the original intention. "If you want to be established, you must be established in your heart." The height of thought and cognition determines the strength of behavior. Start with ideological transformation, carefully benchmark and find the difference, see the essence through phenomena, track the ideological misunderstandings behind behavior, put yourself in, responsibilities in, and work in, and firmly grasp the correct standards and fundamental standards for abiding by rules and regulations, and being a person.

The transformation of customs into customs is inseparable from institutional guarantees. In style construction, the importance of the system is self-evident. History and practice have proved that small wisdom governs affairs and big wisdom governs systems. Work style construction must be carried out from the institutional aspect. Generally speaking, institutional construction has two elements: institutional supply and institutional implementation. Institutional supply mainly solves the problem of system quantity. Therefore, we strive to build a systematic, scientific, standardized and effective system to make work style construction orderly. This means that we must adhere to systematic thinking, dialectical thinking, and bottom-line thinking, and establish the system that should be established in accordance with the principles of pragmatic, effective and easy to operate. The vitality of the system lies in implementation. Therefore, while ensuring the necessary and sufficient institutional supply, the implementation of the system must also be improved. However, institutional implementation is not carried out in a vacuum, but is carried out in a certain political ecology. Facts have proved that in an ecosystem where everyone respects the system and abides by the system, the willingness of party members and cadres to actively implement the system is stronger and the resistance to implement the system is less. Therefore, creating a healthy and benign political ecology has become the main support for promoting institutional implementation. This means that we must strengthen institutional thinking, clarify the public and private boundaries of institutional implementation, and create a good ecosystem for institutional implementation.

A rope saw can break wood, and a drop of water can penetrate stone. Style construction is a tough battle and a protracted battle. On the issue of forging good work style and improving work style, only by working hard for a long time, maintaining the tenacity and patience of long-term efforts, and seeing the normal state in persistence, can we achieve results, treat symptoms and root causes.
