Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao "infectious clearance without sensors" These convenient measures for the 15th National Games are introduced
2025-05-18 source:CCTV News

The reporter learned from the Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs on the 15th that in order to ensure the smooth convening of the 15th National Games in 2025, a series of customs clearance facilitation measures have been introduced.

To simplify procedures, the customs allow the use of ATA documents (temporary customs clearance passport for inbound and outbound goods) to handle relevant procedures. Customs in the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao all recognize the customs clearance of ATA documents. Using this document does not require the preparation of different import and export documents for customs clearance of the three places. In addition, customs duties and other import-related taxes are exempted during the temporary import period, which can effectively reduce the cost of the event.

Simplify the customs clearance process and ensure that the inbound and exit doping inspection samples that have been quarantined and meet the requirements have been quickly released, which not only ensures the timeliness of sample clearance, but also maintains the public health safety of the port.

For two cross-border events, including road cycling and marathons, we support cross-border events to achieve sensory clearance during the competition. Shenzhen Customs and Gongbei Customs have innovatively adopted pre-checking, full-process closure, and sensorless customs clearance.

The 15th National Games will be held from November 9 to 21, 2025, and will be jointly organized by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held in Guangzhou and Shenzhen respectively. The 15th National Games is the largest, highest-level and most influential comprehensive sports event in my country hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
