CCTV News: On the afternoon of May 14, a cross-border train full of Korean goods departed from Yantai Port, Shandong and headed to Kyrgyzstan. This is the first "one-order" cross-border railway-sea intermodal train in the country, and the entire transportation time can be reduced by more than half.

This batch of goods departed from Incheon Port, South Korea, and arrived at Yantai Port, Shandong after 14 hours of shipping. Then they were unloaded, cleared, loaded, and transported to Kashgar Port, Xinjiang by railway, and sent to Kyrgyzstan. In the whole process, the carrier only needs a freight document to enable cross-border goods to achieve "seamless connection" between international shipping and domestic railways.

Previously, after Japan and South Korea cross-border "scattered cargo sources" arrived in Shandong by sea, the carrier company needed to connect with various types of domestic logistics companies to complete the continuous transportation. Because the cargo volume is small, it is often necessary to "publish orders" with other goods, which have long waiting time, cumbersome procedures, and inconvenient cargo tracking.

Yu Qunjie, director of the production dispatching and command center of the Yantai Vehicle Service Section of the Jinan Bureau of China Railway, introduced that they jointly operated with the railway and port, and coordinated the cross-border supply and local supply, ensuring that the goods are loaded within 1 hour of arrival at the port and departed within 3 hours.
