Ningxia Lingwu: Smart farms sow fast, digital control of high yield per mu

Recently, Ningxia has entered the peak period of rice sowing. In Lingwu City, local smart farms are being planted efficiently.

In a rice planting base in Lingwu City, staff are operating drones for aerial sowing operations. In a few minutes, the sowing work of a mu of rice fields was completed. According to reports, under the traditional agricultural model, each person has a planting area of less than 10 acres per day. A drone can complete the sowing work of 1,200 acres of land in one week, greatly improving the sowing efficiency.

At present, this smart farm has a rice planting area of more than 3,000 mu, and is equipped with more than 60 smart devices such as unmanned tractors and harvesters, covering the entire process from sowing to harvesting. The farm also performs precision sowing, irrigation and fertilization through the smart agricultural management system, which can save 40% seeds, 25% water and 22% fertilizer respectively. At the same time, Smart Farm also cooperated with Ningxia Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences to develop smart equipment in response to local drought and salinization problems.

According to reports, under digital intelligent management, the farm's current rice yield per mu reaches about 1,200 jin, which is significantly higher than the yield per mu of about 700 jin before the transformation.
