CCTV News: According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, China's civil aviation international passenger route network has been continuously expanded since the beginning of this year, with 79 countries using airlines, and the number of international flights and passengers has further increased.

Data from the Civil Aviation Administration shows that from January to April this year, Chinese and foreign airlines carried out international passenger flights each week reached 6,428, an increase of 25.4% over the same period last year. Among them, Chinese airlines operated 4,470 flights, an increase of 31.4% over the same period last year; foreign airlines operated 1,958 flights, an increase of 13.6% over the same period last year. The share of flights between my country and countries jointly built the "Belt and Road" has steadily increased, and the current proportion of flights has reached about 72%.

In addition, since the beginning of this year, my country's international route network has been continuously improved, with the number of countries that are open to air, and the accessibility of international flights has been further improved.

The popularity of inbound travel has pushed up the demand for international passenger transport in civil aviation

The continuous expansion of the international route network has provided people from all over the world with new convenient options. Coupled with the continuous support of favorable policies such as entry and exit, China's inbound travel has ushered in explosive growth since this year. At Shanghai Pudong International Airport, the number of foreign inbound passengers this year reached more than 1.6 million, an increase of nearly 50% year-on-year. In addition to airports such as "Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen", the international routes of some branch airports are also increasing, further boosting local tourism revenue.

In the afternoon at Shanghai Pudong Airport, the reporter met the Hoggs from Germany, who had just flew to Shanghai from Germany.

Alaura, who also comes from Europe, also enthusiastically told reporters about her travel plans.

As a popular inbound travel destination in my country, Shanghai has inbound more than 1.8 million foreign tourists this year, an increase of 48% year-on-year.

Since this year, my country's international route network has continued to improve, and the number of flights and passengers has further increased. The passenger transport volume from my country to Northeast Asia, West Asia, Central Asia, Europe, Africa and other places increased by 20%, 91%, 233%, 71% and 241% respectively compared with five years ago; the flight volume of these 35 countries has exceeded the level of five years ago; the traditional market route network with Asia and Europe has been continuously improved, and the routes with Latin America, South Pacific and Africa have been steadily expanded, and the accessibility of international flights has been further improved.

The international routes of branch airports have increased to drive inbound travel consumption

At a B&B inn in Xiehe Township, Zhangjiajie, Hunan, more than 10 overseas tourists are enjoying Chinese Tujia cuisine comfortably. Viadrake's family, a tourist from Poland, has been staying in the inn for 3 days.

Since this year, the opening of multiple international routes has also made more cities with branch airports favored by international tourists. In March, Dali Airport opened a route to and from Ho Chi Minh City; in April, Huangshan Airport opened a route to and from Busan, South Korea. More and more foreign tourists choose to "knock off" to see the mountains and seas in different cities in China, extending from "transit tour" to "in-depth tour".
