He Lifeng said that the multilateral trading system with the World Trade Organization as the core is the cornerstone of international trade and plays an important role in global economic governance. All parties should resolve differences and disputes through equal dialogue under the framework of the World Trade Organization, jointly safeguard multilateralism and free trade, and promote the stability and smooth flow of the global industrial chain and supply chain. China will continue to participate in the reform of the World Trade Organization in a comprehensive and in-depth manner, support the World Trade Organization to play the role of a "stabilizer" of global trade, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of developing members, and make greater contributions to responding to common global challenges. He Lifeng also introduced the relevant situation of the high-level economic and trade talks between China and the United States at the inquiry.
Ivera said that global economic and trade growth currently faces severe challenges. Members of the World Trade Organization should jointly defend an open and rules-based multilateral trading system, strengthen dialogue and cooperation on international trade issues, and promote the World Trade Organization to play a greater role in promoting trade liberalization and facilitation and achieving global sustainable development.
