After more than a year of preparation, more than 220 customized bus lines have been opened in the city. These lines start with the first letter of the pinyin of "customized" and cover 16 districts in the city. There is a commuter line that facilitates office workers to directly reach the subway station, a school line that escorts students to and from school, and a dedicated line that picks up and drops off citizens for medical treatment. Shanghai’s customized bus operation service platform integrates all route information of customized buses in the city, and citizens can query with one click.
The platform can also be "privately customized". Citizens can submit their travel needs and initiate custom routes, or register for routes initiated by others, or participate in the customized routes that have been announced. Bus companies capture hot spots in real time and quickly integrate their scattered travel intentions. Customized bus services are upgraded to better meet the needs of citizens
From "direct access to subway stations at home" to "point-to-point delivery of education and medical treatment", Shanghai's customized buses are quietly changing citizens' travel models, allowing public services to move from "popular universal access" to "precise access".
In order to enable citizens' customization needs to be implemented more efficiently, the platform has created a full-process digital service system. It provides functions such as demand collection, information release, appointment payment, customer service operation and maintenance. After users submit custom requirements online, they can view the customization progress, and the platform will regularly push the customization status, from the demand proposal to the line opening, every step is clearly visible.
In order to bring passengers a high-quality travel experience, the platform has built a service evaluation and feedback system. After taking the bus, citizens can give ride evaluations and make suggestions at the evaluation entrance.
